Introduction to Bowenwork: Put Wellness in YOUR Hands

Four-hour Bowen Intro Class

Quickly learn basic Bowenwork to stimulate faster healing, support yourself and loved ones in pain, and to be more prepared in times of emergency.

  • Bowen can be done through clothing.
  • It is safe, powerful, and easy to do.
  • It is appropriate to use on anyone, of any age, with any condition, and any level of health.

What will you be able to address after taking this class?

  • Relieve neck, back and knee pain
  • Reduce stress, shock
  • Increase restfulness for sleep
  • Relieve muscle tension, joint pain or stiffness
  • Ease breathing difficulties
  • Ease digestive complaints
  • Address injuries

You may want to take this class if:

  • You want to take charge of your own wellness
  • You want to support those you love
  • You want a way to address “emergencies” on the spot
  • You already receive bodywork and want to catch things between sessions

Colette has designed this class to give you enough time to catch on to principles and anatomical locations, and then to put the Classic Bowen Move to work in your everyday life. Ten locations are taught which, used together, can provide the overall effect of a genuine Bowenwork session.

Note: LMTs may receive CE credit for taking this class.

How is this class taught?

  • Students learn in a friendly, helpful environment with a maximum of 6 students
  • Students are instructed through verbal description, observation and hands-on practice. Class fee includes a detailed manual for future reference.
  • Ample time is given to understanding the four stages of the Classic Bowen Move, then where and how to apply them to specific locations on the body.
  • The hands-on portion of this class focuses on teamwork. No one is put on the spot–it’s fun!
  • An optional 90 minute review is offered a few days after class, allowing for further integration of the material.

What clients say…

"I didn’t expect it to be so profound. 80% of that spot on my back feels released. It really is like a computer that’s been defragged.” ~J.L.
