Colette, bodywork and life-long curiosity
I first turned to bodywork in the early 1990’s as a client seeking relief from unremitting back and sciatic pain. Those original questions about the how and why of my own healing opened a bottomless well of curiosity that I still drink from today.
Eventually, I became the first student in Prescott to complete a Bowenwork training. In the last 20 years, I have studied Bowenwork, Massage, and the Feldenkrais Method, Bones for Life and many advanced level Bowen studies. This coursework has accumulated to well over 2,000 hours of bodywork training.
Currently, I study yoga at Lotus Bloom. I have no idea where this will lead, only that it feeds a deep personal goal to age in all ways as gracefully as I can. I have found this is a good way to keep smoothing the rough edges. I feel tremendous gratitude for what I have despite the history written on my bones.
Working individually with clients is a source of unending joy for me. Ultimately, I support clients who want to take charge of feeling better, providing a way to explore, and wonder, and listen more closely to themselves. Because feeling good really matters. And because curiosity is key to feeling good.
